The 1183 Bass Clarinet is an excellent professional instrument that produces a rich, well centered tone that works easily with an ensemble. With the added advantage of a removable low C extension, players can choose to play the low Eb version which can actually extend to a D or play the low C version. The extension is easily added or removed, as the player wishes.
