The Story

Scherl & Roth student cellos are crafted with a laminate top, back and sides and hybrid lacquer/spirit varnish. Each instrument is adjusted in our workshop and set-up with Prelude strings, ebony fingerboard and pegs, French maple bridge and a composite tailpiece.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Instrument only or with .5mm padded bag & carbon fiber bow
  • Hand crafted with solid spruce top, laminate back and sides
  • Hand inlaid purfling
  • Hybrid lacquer/spirit varnish
  • Adjusted in our shop with Prelude strings

  • SR14 rosin
